周月明，男，日本名古屋大学材料电磁过程专业博士研究生毕业，教授级高工。现任宝钢股份研究院电磁冶金首席研究员，技术业务专家。全国磁力材料及设备标准化工作组副主任委员、《金属学报》杂志编委。长期从事电磁冶金技术领域的研发工作，在感应加热技术和连铸电磁搅拌技术方面，共主持完成了30多项科研项目，取得了多项研究成果。早期研制了国内第一代和第二代板坯连铸结晶器电磁搅拌装置，并实现工业应用，高端冷轧产品质量得到了提升，其科研成果“板坯连铸电磁搅拌装置的研制与应用”项目分别荣获宝钢集团重大科技成果进步二等奖和中国金属学会冶金科学技术二等奖。申报国家发明专利50余项，发表学术论文100余篇，指导硕士、博士后研究生20余名。

In the field of induction heating technology and continuous casting electromagnetic stirring technology, he has presided over more than 30 scientific research projects and achieved many research results. And the second generation slab continuous casting crystallizer electromagnetic stirring device, and realize industrial application, the quality of high-end cold-rolled products has been improved, and its scientific research results "the development and application of slab continuous casting electromagnetic stirring device" won the Baosteel Group Reported more than 50 national invention patents, published more than 100 academic papers, supervised masters, and more than 20 postdoctoral graduate students. The second prize of progress in scientific and technological achievements and the second prize of metallurgy science and technology of the Chinese Metal Society.
