郭学益，中南大学教授、博士生导师，教育部“长江学者”特聘教授，国务院政府特殊津贴获得者, 国务院学科评议组成员，国家“百千万人才工程” 入选者。现任中南大学副校长，中国有色金属学会重金属学术委员会理事和中国材料研究学会环境材料分会副理事长。先后主持完成包括国家及省部科技计划项目、国家自然科学面上/重点基金、企业横向合作等数十项课题研究。现已出版专著4部，发表论文200余篇，其中120余篇次被SCI、EI、ISTP检索；获国家科技进步奖2项，省部级科技进步奖9项。

Xueyi Guo, professor and doctoral supervisor of Central South University, distinguished professor of "Yangtze River scholars" of the ministry of education, winner of special government allowance of the State Council, member of the discipline evaluation group of the state council, winner of the national "million talents project". Currently, he is the vice president of Central South University, director of heavy metal academic committee of China nonferrous metals society and vice president of environmental materials branch of China materials research society. He has successively presided over and completed dozens of research projects including national and provincial science and technology plan projects, general and key projects of national natural science foundation, cooperation of enterprises, etc. Four monographs and more than 120 of papers indexed by SCI, EI and ISTP have been published. He has won 2 national science and technology progress awards and 9 provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards.
