刘建华，教授，博士生导师，获北京科技大学学士、硕士学位和博士学位，1991-2006在冶金与生态工程学院工作，2006-现在在工程技术研究院工作，曾在麦吉尔、卧龙岗、昆士兰、拉筹伯、亚琛、雷奥本等大学进修访问。兼任中国金属学会冶金固废综合利用委员会委员。

主要从事炉外精炼、连铸与凝固、夹杂物控制技术、先进钢种生产技术、冶金资源综合利用、冶金物理化学等方面的研究。

承担或作为主要成员参加完成国家自然科学基金项目5项，国家支持计划项目5项、国家“863”项目1项，国际项目2项，国内钢厂项目近40项；获专利授权近20项，发表论文200余篇。

Prof. Jianhua Liu, got his bachelor, master and doctoral degree from USTB, is working in Institute of Engineering Technology, University of Science and Technology Beijing. He once worked in McGill University and LaTrobe University and visited Toronto University, McMaster University, Leoben University, Aachen University, University of Wollongong, Hanyang University, etc. He is a member of metallurgical solid waste comprehensive utilization committee of Chinese metal society, and mainly interested in secondary refining, continuous casting and solidification, inclusion controlling, metallurgical technologies for advanced steel, utilization of metallurgical resources and metallurgical physical chemistry.
