任子平，毕业于东北大学钢铁冶金专业，工学博士，教授级高级工程师。现任鞍钢集团钢铁研究院院长，海洋装备用金属材料及其应用国家重点实验室主任。先后主持多项国家、鞍钢重大科研项目，近年发表论文24篇，授权专利40余件。目前担任中国腐蚀与防护学会副理事长、耐蚀钢联盟秘书长等职务。

Ziping Ren, Ph.D., professorate senior engineer. He graduated from Northeast University, majoring in ferro-metallurgy. He is now the dean of the Iron and Steel Research Institute of Ansteel Group, and the director of the State Key Laboratory of Metal Material for Marine Equipment and Application. He has undertaken a number of major national and Ansteel scientific research projects. In recent years, he has published 24 papers and held more than 40 authorized patents. At present, he serves as the vice president of China Corrosion and Protection Society, secretary general of Corrosion Steel Union, etc.
