东北大学教授，博士生导师。日本名古屋大学工学博士。现任东北大学科学技术研究院院长兼材料电磁过程教育部重点实验室主任，曾任美国加州大学伯克利分校高级研究学者。主持国家自然科学基金重大项目课题、杰出青年科学基金、重点项目，国家科技重大专项课题，国家973专项课题以及宝钢、莱钢、沙钢等企业的技术开发项目等40余项。发表SCI收录论文260余篇、特邀评论文章5篇。出版《强磁场材料科学》和《电磁冶金新技术》学术专著2部（中国科学院科学出版基金资助），《能量转换材料与技术》教材1部（科学出版社出版），参编国际专著3部。应邀在国际会议做特邀报告60余次，担任国际会议大会主席1次。获得美、日、欧、韩发明专利5项，申请国际PCT发明专利2项，已授权中国发明专利30余项。获得辽宁省自然科学二等奖和三等奖各1项、第40届日内瓦国际发明展金奖及发明者协会国际联合会科学金奖。兼任东北大学学术委员会委员、中国有色金属学会常务理事、全国铸造学会理事以及《金属学报》编委等。
Professor, doctoral supervisor. Doctor of engineering, Nagoya university, Japan.He has presided over more than 40 projects of national natural science foundation, outstanding youth science foundation, key projects, major national science and technology special projects, national 973 special projects and technology development projects of Baosteel, Laigang and Shagang. He has published more than 260 SCI papers and 5 invited comments. He published two academic monographs on <<Materials Science of strong magnetic field>> and <<New technology of electromagnetic metallurgy>> (supported by the scientific publishing foundation of Chinese academy of sciences), one textbook on energy conversion materials and technology (published by science press), and three international monographs. He has given over 60 special reports at international conferences and served as the President of the general assembly of international conferences once. He has obtained 5 invention patents in the United States, Japan, Europe and South Korea, applied for 2 international PCT invention patents, and has authorized more than 30 Chinese invention patents. Liaoning province natural science second prize and third prize, the 40th Geneva international invention exhibition gold medal and the international federation of inventors association science gold medal. He is also a member of academic committee of Northeastern university, standing director of China nonferrous metal society, director of national foundry society and editorial board of "Journal of Metals"
