上海交通大学材料科学与工程学院教授,教育部长江学者特聘教授,国家杰出青年基金获得者。主要研究领域是铝合金和高温合金及其精密成型理论与技术。在铝合金纯净化与微细化、高温合金大型复杂薄壁铸件精密成型等领域开展了较为系统的研究。从理论上揭示出熔体中微细夹杂物的电磁分离新机制并实现产业化应用;澄清了铝合金中TiB2粒子形核机制的争议;研制出我国首台自主知识产权的5N高纯铝提纯设备并实现产业化;发明了新型高性能铝合金架空导线材料并在国家电网建设中推广应用,支撑了特高压工程建设;提出大型铸件缺陷形成机理与精度控制方法,发展了大型复杂薄壁铸件精密铸造技术,为我国航空发动机的研制提供了重要技术支撑。主持973项目、863项目、大飞机重大专项材料项目、国家自然基金重点项目、大科学仪器项目等项目50余项。发表SCI论文200余篇,获国家发明专利100余项和国际发明专利1项。获得国家技术发明二等奖2项,上海市技术发明一等奖3项。


Baode Sun is the professor of the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, distinguished professor of the Chang Jiang Scholars Program, and the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.

He is dedicated to the research on the theories and technologies about aluminum alloy, high-temperature alloy and related precision shaping. He has carried out systematic research in fields like the purification and refinement of aluminum alloy and the precision shaping of large and complex thin-walled castings of high-temperature alloy. Theoretically, he revealed the new mechanism for the electromagnetic separation of fine impurities in fusant and realized industrialization accordingly; he clarified the dispute over the nucleation mechanism of TiB2 grains in aluminum alloy, developed the first 5N high-purity aluminum purification device with independent IPRs in China and achieved industrialization; he invented a new type high-performance aluminum alloy overhead wire material and popularized it in State grids, which supports construction of ultra-high voltage projects; he put forward the mechanism for the shaping of large casting defects and the method for precision control, and developed the technique for precision casting of large and complex thin-walled castings, which provides important technical support for the R&D of aero engines in China.

He has chaired more than 50 projects under the 973 Program, 863 Program, large aircraft major material program, national natural foundation program and large scientific instrument program. He has published over 200 hundred SCI papers, applied for 100 invention patents and one international invention patent, and won two second prizes of national technological inventions award and three first prizes for technological inventions at the municipality.
